Life Legacy
Betty Lou (Boo) Kennedy, 60, of the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Wednesday at her home.
She was born October 15, 1948 in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor Thomas Kennedy. She was a graduate of Coughlin High School and was formerly employed at Valley Crest Nursing Center.
She was a member of St. Dominic's Church, Wilkes-Barre and enjoyed roller skating and camping. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Constantino, and brother Kevin Kennedy. She loved and deeply adored her family members.
Surviving are her sister, Pat Filipowich and her husband, Stephen, Mountain Top; brothers, Edward J. Kennedy and his wife Helen, Ashley; Raymond Kennedy, Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 from E. Blake Collins Funeral Home, 159 George Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Dominic's Church. Friends may call Sunday 5-7.
