Life Legacy
Wilbur Griffith, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the home of his brother, Robert.
He was born November 23, 1939 in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late Joseph and Louise Griffith. He attended the Wilkes-Barre Township schools and was a Navy veteran. Formerly he was employed at TP Corporation in Duryea.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Hurst, Hilda Draht; brothers, Leroy and Joseph Griffith.
Surviving, sons, George Griffith, Florida, Greg Griffith, Scranton; several grandchildren; brothers, Robert Griffith, Wilkes-Barre, Alan Griffith, Wilkes-Barre Twp; sister, Sylvia Shaffer, Plains.
Private funeral services were held by the E. Blake Collins Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
