Barbara Cummings

Barbara Ann Cummings, 89, of Kingston passed away on September 26, 2025 at her home. 

She was born in Scranton and was a daughter of the late John and Mary Slavetskas.  Barbara was a graduate of Dickson City High School and was formerly employed at Leslie Fay and General Dynamics. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed cooking and gardening. Most of all she loved to be with her family. 

Surviving are her husband, Bruce Cummings; daughters Christine Bartosiewicz and her husband Jay, and Barb Blasko and her husband Mark; grandchildren, Kayla Cruz, Zachary, Tee, Alana, John, Connor Bartosiewicz; great grandchildren Eliana and Aurora Cruz; sisters, Patricia Pelucacci, Joan Pisano, Sue Kashmer; nieces, nephews, cousins. 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Kingston. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call Monday from 9:00 to 9:45 at Maher-Collins Funeral Home, 360 North Maple Avenue, Kingston.
