David A. Levy

David A. Levy, 62, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on June 25, 2023. He was born on August 21,1960 in Wilkes-Barre. David was the son of the late Donald and Theresa Snitko Levy.

David graduated from Bishop Hoban High School, Class of 1978. Following graduation, David completed his Culinary Arts degree, became the Executive Chef at Maxim's Restaurant, East Mountain Inn, Centre Inn and was part owner of Cape May Cafe as he continued to pursue his culinary passion.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Theresa Levy, grandparents Albert and Florence Levy. 

Surviving are his sons, Ryan D. Levy, Miami, Florida, Nicholas J. Levy, Hunlock Creek, PA, Joshua A. Levy, Philadelphia, PA. David had many aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces. He also leaves his long time partner, Lisa Chernetsky.

David had many hobbies and interests, including but not limited to his love for his sons, cooking/creating, Steelers fan, pruning his vegetable garden, and enjoying his car collection and his many dogs.
