In loving memory of Jean C. Santana, father of two living boys Leiyean and Jevian Santana Alvarez. Jean departed on September 16th, 2023 in a tragic subway accident in NYC. He suffered a traumatic brain injury prior to the accident which left him confused and vulnerable. He went missing in NYC and a report was filed in effort to search and find him.
We will always remember Jean as a good and humble man who did the best he could for his family. He was an NY area locally well known barber; he took pride in his work. He is also known to have been an inspiring music artist in the Latin urban genre, a most talented and great vocalist. He was the son of the late Carlos Alberto Santana “Don Carlos” and Elizabeth Miranda, both of which had a music background and talent. He is survived by his two children named above and eight siblings.
Jean loved to spend quality time at home with his kids, cooking, and spontaneous trips to museums, sightseeing, and restaurants. We went to a Lakers game in the middle of a snowstorm along side his then living father and with siblings. There are good memories who all loved and cared about will cherish.
My “Pollito” as I once referred and loved calling him will forever be remembered by myself as a love for lifelong. Despite his own personal battles in life, I rather have him remembered for the good he has done, charities he donated to such as natural disasters, children, medical donations, and other local donations. I believe he is no longer suffering and has graduated to a better life where I one day would love to join him along with our dearly departed loved ones.
I thank everyone who took the time to know of Jean C. Santana through his memorial.
Always loved by Shakitza and family.
