Michael D. Pikaitis, of Kingston passed away on April 1, 2026 at his home. He was born in Wilkes-Barre a son of the late Joseph and Hannah Spangenberg Pikaitis.

He was employed as a carpenter for Trade Eastern for many years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed being at his cabin and especially loved being with his grandson, Christopher.He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Pikaitis Jr., sisters, Grace Ann Smith and Lois Pikaitis.

Surviving are his wife Janet Pikaitis; daughter Naomi Harding; son Michael Pikaitis; grandson Christopher Harding; step-son James Kemmerer and his wife Amanda; sisters, Louise Pikaitis, Donna Tencza, Joanne Corridoni, Ann Marie Quigg and her husband Bob; nieces and nephews.

A gathering for friends and family will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 10 - 12 at Maher-Collins Funeral Home, 360 North Maple Avenue, Kingston. A prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m.
