Ryan Thomas Nash

Ryan Thomas Nash, 44, of Plains passed away on September 4, 2023 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born June 24, 1979 in Wilkes-Barre the son of Bonnie Banaszek.  Ryan was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Banaszek III, and his dad Ray Banaszek.  

Ryan is survived by his mom, Bonnie Banaszek; children, Isaiah, Alexus, Desmond, Alijah, Cole; sisters,  Amy Halecki, Amber Rutkowski, Renee Montigney, many nieces and nephews.

Ryan was most recently employed at Gatorade in Hanover Township.  Anyone who knew him knows that he was a Chicago Bears fanatic, and an avid listener to Frank Sinatra especially the song “My Way”.  Ryan also started doing wood work projects such as a furniture and wood carvings.  

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. at E. Blake Collins Funeral Home, 159 George Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.
