Wendy E. Barone

Wendy E. Barone, 68, of Kingston passed away on February 7, 2022 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. She was born January 20, 1954 in Albany, New York a daughter of Robert and Ruth Paffenroth Haber. She graduated from Goshen Central School in Goshen, New York and was employed at RCN for over 20 years in a variety of roles including Collections Supervisor, Customer Service and most recently in the Switch Provisioning Department. Wendy was well known for her amazing cakes, cupcakes and potato salad, enjoyed cooking and baking for her friends and family, and also enjoyed reading, watching movies and being with her grandson. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Haber. Surviving are her children, Justine Barone Longland, Andrew Barone, Robert Barone.; grandson, Logan Barone; brother, Gary Haber as well as as several children of the heart who she supported over the years. Friends may call Saturday from 12 -2 p.m. at Maher-Collins Funeral Home, 360 North Maple Avenue, Kingston.
